Yes folks, I broke the story first HERE on Free Republic!

CSPAN has shut down coverage of the House. The lights have been turned out.

House Republicans are still there, raising cain- trying to get them to turn the lights back on and continue debating over drilling!!!

CALL THE REPUBLICAN OFFICES-- TELL THEM TO KEEP RAISING CAIN!!!!

WE CANNOT LET THE MSM IGNORE THIS!!!!

I had been calling Washington, DC all morning trying to encourage the Republicans to STAY and NOT go on vacation. Let the Democrats go on vacation, let Pelosi go on her book tour, but let the American people see the Republicans stay and work for us. I was literally going through the alphabet of Republican Representatives making the calls. When I got to Sam Johnson's (TX) office, they told me that it was too late, the lights were out and the microphones were off.

I was devastated. But for some reason I couldn't quit. I called Jack Kingston's office (GA). The lady who answered the phone told me that yes, the lights were out, the microphones were off, but the Republicans were down there raising a raucus trying to get them back on.

I immediately jumped onto Free Republic to get the word out and to encourage other folks to call DC and encourage them to keep fighting. My, oh my, did the FREEPers respond!
